Blind Box Shop Simulator launched on May 22, 2026 and has received a steady stream of major content updates since then. The first major update (v1.1.0) shipped on June 12, 2026, adding a Blind Box Compendium, Display Case Restocker, online order gameplay with drone delivery, an interactive Lucky Cat mechanic, and extensive shop customization tools. A second major update (v1.2.1) followed on July 1, 2026, introducing the Super Hidden Edition system beginning with the Mythmon series, plus a Workbench Upgrade System. That post announced seven additional series beyond Mythmon would receive their own Super Hidden Editions. On August 11, 2026, NovaraGames published a full update roadmap confirming a property system, co-op management, and additional special NPCs are all scheduled for development. The third major update (V1.3) launched August 14, 2026, adding Special NPC Hiring, a Shop Review System, a personal Collection Room mode, expanded shop and warehouse space, and multiple save slots. The most recent developer communication — a September 21, 2026 post — confirms that co-op development is now complete and will soon enter closed beta, with a public launch expected shortly after. New Premium Editions for additional series are described as nearly finished and will launch alongside co-op. The developer also explicitly states they "will continue to maintain and update the game and keep bringing new content," and mentions the possibility of a price increase when co-op launches. This is the clearest possible confirmation that substantial content is imminent and further updates are planned beyond that.
