Evaluation
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk launched on August 18, 2023 as a complete game. Team Reptile followed up with a series of post-launch patches: Patch 1 (August 30, 2023) added the Micro Boy mini-game and fixed a wide range of bugs; a hotfix landed the next day (August 31, 2023) to address save-related issues; Patch 2 (October 26, 2023) improved the in-game map and added quality-of-life features; and Patch 3 (January 15, 2024) rounded out the remaining bug fixes. Both DLC items listed on the store — a character pack (Base & Jay) and the official soundtrack — were released on launch day and represent cosmetic/bonus content rather than new story or gameplay expansions. No further patches or content updates for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk have been posted since January 15, 2024. Team Reptile's focus has clearly moved on: they revealed their next game, HYPERFUNK, at Tokyo Game Show and published a teaser in late 2025 (December 8, 2025), explicitly stating "there is still a lot of game left to make" on that project. A post from April 14, 2026 promoted a web-based version of the Micro Boy mini-game while directing players to the HYPERFUNK store page — confirming the studio's attention is on the new title. There are no unreleased DLC items, no announced future content for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and no developer statement suggesting additional updates are planned.

About this game
Team Reptile brings you Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, a future world from the mind of Dion Koster where self-styled graffiti crews equipped with personal boostpacks are battling each other for control of the streets. Start your own cypher and dance, paint graffiti, collect beats, combo your tricks and face off with the cops to stake your claim to the sprawling metropolis of New Amsterdam.
Red is a graffiti writer who lost his head and instead uses a cyberhead to get around. In search of his roots he joins the Bomb Rush Crew, Tryce and Bel. Together they decide to go All City, to become the best graffiti crew in the city. The more territory they gain, the more they discover who it was that cut off Red's head and how deep his human side is linked to the graffiti world.
