Bomb Squad Academy

Bomb Squad Academy launched on March 27, 2017. Shortly after launch, the developer posted an enthusiastic update on April 5, 2017 outlining ambitious plans for future development — including a circuit board editor, Steam Workshop integration, a random board generator, new components, and more. However, these were explicitly framed as aspirational ideas rather than firm commitments: the developer repeatedly noted uncertainty about what they'd actually be able to deliver. The one major update that did ship was V1.5 on December 28, 2018, which nearly doubled the number of puzzles, added Steam Cloud support, trading cards, and localization. This update fulfilled several of the goals mentioned in the April 2017 post (more boards, cloud saves, trading cards). Since December 28, 2018, there have been no further developer communications of any kind — no updates, patches, announcements, or posts. The more ambitious features outlined in 2017 (board editor, random generator, Workshop integration) never materialized, and given the developer's own cautious framing and the 7+ years of silence since the last update, it is reasonable to conclude that V1.5 represents the final state of the game. The game launched as a self-contained puzzle experience and has remained so.
