Bombe launched on June 4, 2023 and received a series of meaningful updates from its solo developer over the following year and a half. A substantial feature post on February 10, 2024 documented a wide range of additions made over the preceding months — rule management tools, paint modes, filter systems, and robot solver improvements. On November 2, 2024, the developer introduced an entirely new game mode called Negative Bombs, complete with its own set of levels and modified mechanics. On November 28, 2024, the developer confirmed that weekly challenge levels would again receive festive seasonal variants throughout December 2024 — an expansion of the previous year's seasonal content with two additional symbol types. That November 28, 2024 post is the last developer communication on record. No further content has been announced since then, and there is no unreleased DLC on the store. The developer has made no statements about ongoing or future development plans. Looking at the update history, major additions arrived roughly every few months through late 2024, but the most recent cadence interval — from November 28, 2024 to today, October 1, 2026 — is approximately 22 months with no developer communication of any kind. This far exceeds the historical gap between updates and the 6-month silence threshold.
