Evaluation
BOOKS is a small casual quiz game about animal facts that released on August 23, 2017. The developer shipped two minor patches in the days immediately following launch — one on August 24, 2017 fixing a click interaction bug, and one on September 1, 2017 adding a new room, eight new books, and a large batch of achievements. There have been no developer communications of any kind since September 1, 2017. The store description mentions "Beautiful emoticons and trading cards (coming soon)" which appears to be leftover placeholder text from the original launch page that was never fulfilled or removed — no subsequent posts or announcements ever addressed this promise. The game has received no updates, announcements, or developer activity in over eight years. It launched as a small, self-contained product and all meaningful development activity concluded within the first two weeks after release.
Evidence
Last developer update: added a new room, 8 new 'Animal tracks' books, and 3,724 achievements. This is the final recorded developer communication.
