Evaluation

Boomerang Fu launched on August 13, 2020 and has received a healthy stream of updates since then. Its post-launch content history includes two paid DLC packs — the Fresh Flavors Pack (November 16, 2021) and the Just Desserts DLC (June 11, 2024) — as well as free major updates like the Grilling Spree Update (May 13, 2021), which added new characters and arenas, and a Hide & Seek mode (June 11, 2024). Both DLC packs are fully released with no unreleased items listed on the store. Following the Just Desserts DLC release in mid-2024, the developer continued with feature patches and bug fixes through 2025, with the most recent update being a bug fix patch (Update 1.3.7) on October 17, 2025. There have been no posts of any kind since that date, and no future content — roadmaps, announced DLC, or planned updates — has been communicated. The two major DLC releases were spaced roughly 2.5 years apart, and both are now shipped. The developer has not announced any further content plans, and the gap since the last communication (October 17, 2025) has now exceeded 8 months with no signal of ongoing work. The game appears to have reached the end of its content cycle, wrapping up with maintenance patches after the final DLC. No content warnings or risk signals apply — the game shipped as a complete package that received additional content over time, and that content cycle has now concluded.
