Bot Vice

Bot Vice launched on July 11, 2016 as a self-contained arcade gallery shooter. In the months following launch, DYA Games shipped a handful of updates: version 1.1 on July 16, 2016 added quality-of-life improvements and a new Easy difficulty mode, a major free update on October 18, 2016 added the "Extra Missions" game mode with 25 additional stages and a Boss Rush, and a follow-up patch on October 24, 2016 overhauled the difficulty system. After that October 2016 period, the developer issued no further updates to Bot Vice itself. Subsequent news posts from DYA Games — announcements for Viviette (2018) and Evil Tonight (2021) — make clear the studio moved on to new projects rather than continuing to develop Bot Vice. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmaps, no announced future content, and no ongoing update cadence for Bot Vice after October 2016. The game shipped as a complete, finite arcade experience and its post-launch additions were wrapped up within the first few months of release.
