Boulder Dash - 30th Anniversary launched on September 13, 2016. Both DLC packs (Classic Remix World and The Bouldering Comp World) were released the day after launch, on September 14, 2016. The developer shipped a handful of feature patches in the weeks following launch — adding Hardcore Mode, balance tweaks, Steam Cloud Save, and a limited-time Halloween event — with the last of these arriving on October 18, 2016. After that, developer activity went essentially quiet for nearly a decade, with only a single minor bug fix (controller support) appearing on January 21, 2026. No roadmap, no announced future content, and no unreleased DLC exist. The store description references the two DLC worlds as available for purchase, both of which have been released since September 14, 2016. With all announced content shipped and no indication of further development plans, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product.
