Bounty Below

Bounty Below launched on October 14, 2021 as a free-to-play idle adventure game. The developer shipped a series of balance and bug-fix patches in the week following launch, wrapping up what they called the "1.0 cycle" by October 20, 2021. The developer then indicated they planned to return with a sound effects update for the Dungeons mode. However, on November 12, 2021, the developer posted a candid statement explaining that the scope of the remaining sound design work was overwhelming, and that their passion for the project had run out. They explicitly announced they were ending development on Bounty Below, describing it as a project they were never deeply passionate about and noting that the game has "deeper fundamental flaws" that further polish wouldn't solve. They expressed excitement about moving on to new projects. This is confirmed by a December 2024 announcement in which the developer revealed their next game, Death of Eternity — a new title developed entirely separately from Bounty Below. The sole DLC item, the "Golden Cursor" cosmetic, was released the day after launch on October 15, 2021. No unreleased DLC is listed. No further content was ever announced or shipped after the developer's November 2021 closure post. Development on Bounty Below is definitively complete.
