Bugaboo Pocket

Bugaboo Pocket launched on April 2, 2025. At launch, the developer stated that while they consider the game complete as-is, they would love to add more bugs if there is enough interest. That interest clearly materialized — the game has received three major free content updates since launch, each adding new bugs and additional content: - August 11, 2025: A new bug was added to the public beta branch and subsequently the full game. - October 10, 2025: Another new bug was added to the game, and the developer noted they were already working on the next one. - January 5, 2026: A new bug and unique color variants for all common bugs were added. This establishes a consistent pattern of roughly 2–3 months between major content additions. The most recent major update shipped on January 5, 2026. As of June 21, 2026, approximately 5.5 months have passed since that last major update, which is slightly beyond the established pattern — however, the developer has not communicated that development is concluding. Given the small two-person team and their history of occasional gaps (they noted a long pause in June 2025 due to a move and family matters), this alone doesn't indicate the project is winding down. The only DLC listed is a soundtrack (released April 30, 2025), with no unreleased DLC on the store.
