Bullet Bunny launched on March 4, 2024 as a twin-stick roguelike shooter. Since launch, the developer (a solo dev named Pen) has shipped two major content updates: the "Overhaul" update on April 25, 2024, which added a new hero (K.Rot7), gun perks, hero passives, and a UI rework; and the "A Box Full of Sharp Objects" update on October 25, 2024, which added another new hero (Razor), a new gun, loadouts, and auto-aim. The store description explicitly states that "More characters planned post-launch," signaling the developer's intent to continue adding content. The October 2024 update post also mentioned ongoing work on a Bullet Bunny Mobile version. However, the last developer communication of any kind was that October 25, 2024 post. As of June 21, 2026 — nearly 8 months beyond a standard 6-month check-in window — the developer has gone completely silent with no updates, patches, announcements, or explanation. The promise of additional post-launch characters remains unfulfilled, and it is unclear whether development is continuing.
