Bung Ball is a free-to-play multiplayer arena game that launched on June 10, 2023. Since launch, Slap Chicken Games has delivered a consistent stream of updates. The first major content drop arrived on August 4, 2023, adding two new maps (Dust and Crane). A seasonal Christmas update followed on December 22, 2023. After a longer gap, the developer shipped the "Bung Ball Forever" major update on August 27, 2025 — a significant overhaul featuring a networking engine upgrade, a new map (Arizona), a UI redesign, and Steam integration improvements. The developer acknowledged the wait in that post. Two further updates followed in quick succession: a bug fix and new Mystery Box item on September 5, 2025, and a Halloween-themed seasonal update ("Bung O Ween") on November 1, 2025.
