Evaluation

Buried Stars is a completed mystery adventure game that originally launched on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and Nintendo Switch on July 30, 2020, before arriving on Steam on November 29, 2021. The Steam release was treated as a port of a finished product — all developer communications leading up to and following the Steam launch were focused on announcing the release date and addressing minor bug fixes shortly after launch (December 3 and December 6, 2021). The only DLC available is the Digital OST, which released alongside the game on November 29, 2021. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmaps, no announced future content, and no developer posts of any kind after December 6, 2021. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained narrative adventure with no post-launch content cycle ever established on Steam.
