Burning Skies Arcade was a free retro shoot-'em-up released on Steam on July 11, 2024. The developer, Paulo (NukGames), announced on April 9, 2026 that the game would be retired from Steam on April 27, 2026. The reason given was that the Arcade version was causing confusion with the main Burning Skies game, and that as a solo developer it was difficult to support two separate products simultaneously. All DLCs were made free to claim before removal. The game is no longer purchasable on Steam — confirmed by the absence of any purchase options. Anyone who added it to their library before April 27, 2026 can still play it, but it is no longer available for new players to acquire. The developer has moved focus entirely to the full Burning Skies game (App ID 1915690), which is a separate, larger roguelite title currently in development.
