Evaluation
Cakey's Twisted Bakery launched on July 5, 2024 as a self-contained indie horror adventure game. The store description presents a complete, self-contained experience with a clear premise, defined cast of characters (Cakey, Frostina, and Candy Bane), and a narrative goal (rescuing George and escaping the bakery). There is no mention of DLC, seasonal content, updates, or future additions of any kind. No DLC has been listed on the store, and no developer news posts or roadmaps have been published. The game appears to have shipped as a finished product with no post-launch content cycle. With the launch date now nearly a year in the past and no signals of ongoing development, the game is best understood as a complete, standalone release.
Evidence
