Evaluation

Call to Arms: Panzer Elite has been in Early Access since September 19, 2025 and is still marked as unfinished. Major content updates have arrived on March 17, 2026 (the Le Dézert German mission, the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. N and the Radio Tower skirmish map), May 12, 2026 (Field HQ and the St. Barthélemy mission), June 25, 2026 (the Mont-Saint-Michel map and AI accuracy changes), August 7, 2026 (completion of the German campaign with the M18 Hellcat, M24 Chaffee and binoculars), and October 1, 2026 (the Amblève River mission and the M4A1 (75) Late Sherman). A hotfix on October 6, 2026 reduced the download size from about 115 GB to about 30 GB and fixed a St. Vith mission bug. The developer said on August 7, 2026 that the game is far from finished and that an updated roadmap would follow soon. Several announced features are still awaiting release, including a manual zeroing system listed on the February 25, 2026 roadmap, a co-op revive system the developer said it was designing on March 17, 2026, and a damage model overhaul the developer described as an ongoing process on May 12, 2026. The October 1, 2026 update also says the developer remains committed to making incremental AI improvements with each update.

About this game

Command a platoon of WWII tanks in this TPP and FPP game. Engage in tactical, realistic battles across historic battlefields. Play through a full campaign or test your skills in skirmish mode, fighting as either German or US forces.

As a German commander in 1944, your mission is to push back the advancing enemy forces in France. Assemble your platoon of tanks, take command, and lead them into battle across a series of intense and tactical engagements.

You and your platoon will play a key role in pivotal moments of the Second World War. Relive iconic battles around St. Lô, Mortain, and the Ardennes, and take part in some of the greatest tank engagements in history.

Skirmish mode, a fan-favorite feature from our previous title Call to Arms: Gates of Hell, returns with expanded possibilities. Fight on either side of the historical conflict and command powerful weapons like the iconic Tiger tank or the StuH 42. Battle for control of key strategic landmarks and lead your forces to victory.

Get to know your crew as they fight by your side. Experience their personal stories, victories, and hardships as they grow and evolve throughout the campaign.

Feature List:

  • 5 PvE Campaign Missions: Single-player and Coop

  • 9 PvPvE Skirmish Missions

  • Fully destructible and immersive environment

  • 20 playable war vehicles: 10 historically accurate tanks and armored vehicles for each faction

  • Physics based ballistic and complex damage simulations
