Capybara: The Story of Sisyphus is a free-to-play casual game that launched on May 14, 2024. The developer (Underdogs) released a cosmetic DLC on the same day as the game, and followed up with a couple of bug fix patches in the days after launch. The last developer communication was a feature patch on June 30, 2024, which added Steam trading card item integration and performance improvements. Since then — a period stretching to June 2026 — there have been no further developer posts, announcements, roadmaps, or hints of additional content. The game launched with a complete set of themed levels (ancient, medieval, Wild West, city, mountain, and others), and nothing in the developer's communications suggests more content was ever planned beyond what shipped. With no unreleased DLC, no announced future updates, and nearly two years of silence following the last patch, the game appears to be a finished product.

You play as a very lazy capybara who has to climb a mountain to take a bath in his barrel!
It seemed that the capybara had already accepted her fate of not being able to take a bath. Prepare for the falls, try not to fall and keep going. Travel through different eras and reach the top of the mountain!
You have a rope with a barrel to balance while climbing.
Use all your experience to hold on to the capybara.
There are several locations in the game:

🌵 Wild West - Walk through a small base and out into the mines!
🍜The City - Stroll down an anime inspired street!
