Evaluation

Cards, the Universe and Everything (CUE) is a free-to-play trading card game that launched on Steam on June 5, 2025, after a brief delisting setback that was resolved before launch. The game is designed as a live service: it has an ever-expanding card pool (over 5,000 cards at launch), player-to-player trading, and a continuous cadence of new content, limited-time cards, and game modes. Since launching on Steam, the developer has been consistently active. The Adventures game mode — a quest-based progression system with themed chapters and exclusive rewards — was announced on June 18, 2025, shipped to PC on July 9–10, 2025, and the developer confirmed additional chapters are coming. In October 2025, three new Limited cards inspired by Squid Game were added with unique mechanics. Regular balance patches have continued through at least April 24, 2026, when a matchmaking fix also reduced Trade Token costs and noted "more trading updates pending for Steam." The four DLC packs listed on the store (cosmetic/card packs released June 12, 2025) are all released. The game's free-to-play structure, rotating limited cards, live seasonal content, and developer-confirmed ongoing updates all point clearly to a game that is designed to run indefinitely — it is never intended to be "complete" in the traditional sense.

About this game

The Only Card Game Where You Can Collect, Battle, and Trade… Everything.

Ever wondered who’d win in a fight, Loki or a pug? T-Rex vs Houdini? Napoleon or the Sphinx? In Cards, the Universe and Everything (CUE), these deeply important questions are finally answered. Collect the best of history, science, myths, nature and much more…

No paywalls, just good old-fashioned wheeling and dealing with players across the world. Build your dream collection, track down and exchange rare cards, or hoard 37 copies of a Honey Badger just for the hell of it.

With over 5,000 cards spanning everything from black holes to Black Hawks, you can build decks that are brilliant, bizarre, or just plain unfair. In case you're wondering, that's more than 434 quintillion possible card combinations per round, so things never get boring.
Sure, Space, History and Science might sound like a school project, but really, it’s mostly shouting as Henry VIII flattens your quantum physicist and the angry goose you just played ruins everything. Each arena has its own twists, and every card is packed with curious facts to make defeat feel oddly enlightening.

Win trophies, unlock powerful new cards, and collect rewards in regular events. Because who doesn’t love being rewarded for playing cards?

Craft Special Cards and Fuse Duplicates

Uncover secret recipes, combine duplicates, and create new cards with game-changing abilities. Or just melt down your spares in a blind panic after a crushing defeat.
