In July 2025, the developer announced a major upcoming update featuring a Level Builder (letting players create and share custom stages) and VS Mode (a turn-based naval combat mode where the enemy ship fires back), described as coming "soon." After roughly a year of silence following that July 2025 announcement, the developer posted again on September 23, 2026, acknowledging the gap and explaining that college commitments had slowed development. Critically, the developer confirmed that update 2.4 is "officially coming out soon," with more details and a release date promised imminently. This resolves the previous development uncertainty — the developer has checked back in, explained the delay, and reaffirmed that the update is on its way. The promised content (Level Builder and VS Mode) from the July 2025 announcement has not yet shipped, and the September 23, 2026 post confirms development is still ongoing toward that release.
