Evaluation
CasinoLife Poker is a free-to-play, always-online multiplayer poker game that launched on August 5, 2020. By its fundamental design, it is a live service: players connect with real opponents from around the world, earn free chips on a recurring 4-hour timer, climb a career ranking system, participate in Texas Hold'em events for prizes, and purchase cosmetic items through an in-game clothing store. This is the kind of game that does not have a defined content endpoint — it is built to run as long as players are active.
The developer has posted updates periodically, with the most recent being a bug fix update on May 3, 2023. All three DLC items (starter chip packs released October 12, 2020) have shipped. No future content has been formally announced, but the live service structure means the game's ongoing availability and player ecosystem are what matter most, not a traditional content roadmap.
Evidence
Store description describes free chips every 4 hours, recurring Texas Hold'em events, a career ranking ladder, cross-platform live multiplayer, and an in-game clothing store for ongoing avatar customization — all characteristic of a continuously running live service game.
May 2023 bug fix update — the most recent developer communication, indicating the game was still being maintained as of that date.
