Evaluation

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD launched on Steam on March 27, 2014. It is a port of a handheld game, released as a complete, self-contained experience with no post-launch content planned or delivered. The store description makes no mention of DLC, expansions, or future updates — it describes a finished product with a defined story, combat system, and bonus Boss Rush mode. The only developer communications after launch were two bug-fix patches in April 2014 (an Nvidia compatibility fix and a weapon-pickup bug fix), and there have been no developer posts of any kind since April 28, 2014. There is no DLC listed, no roadmap, and no announcements of future content at any point. The game shipped as a complete package and has remained unchanged in content since launch.
