Evaluation

Casual Desktop Game launched out of Early Access on February 14, 2020 and has been actively maintained by solo developer Daniel Brendel ever since. The game has received a consistent stream of updates over the years: a major content overhaul in December 2024 (the 5-Year Anniversary Update), a feature patch in December 2025 adding the Blueprint system and new fireworks tools, a new Treasure Chest workshop item on April 25, 2026, and four more new workshop tools published on September 2, 2026 — today's date. On February 14, 2026 (the game's 6th birthday), the developer explicitly stated: "There will definitely be more updates soon. Since the core game is in a very stable state, I want to focus more on community mods." This commitment has been borne out by the subsequent workshop releases in April and September 2026. The developer has maintained a clear pattern of at least one major content or workshop release per year, with multiple releases in 2026 alone. No specific future content has been formally announced, but the developer is clearly still actively engaged with the game and publishing new content.
