Cat God Ranch

Cat God Ranch launched on September 12, 2024 and has received a steady stream of content from CrazyPotato Studio ever since. Two paid DLCs have shipped: Age of Dinosaurs (June 20, 2025) and Frozen Beats (May 1, 2026), each adding new animal families, maps, Cat Gods, and items. Between those releases, the developer shipped a major winter seasonal update in December 2025, regular feature patches adding new animals, items, game modes (Adventure Mode, Daily Challenge), and expanded language and platform support (Mac, Nintendo Switch, and a mobile version launched January 29, 2026). As far back as November 2024, the developer explicitly stated they were working on new themed maps, new animal families, and new Cat Gods. The June 2025 DLC launch post concluded with a direct promise to "continue to update with more thematic DLCs featuring different gameplay." This commitment has been backed up by the actual release of the Frozen Beats DLC in May 2026 — approximately one year after the first DLC — establishing a roughly annual major DLC cadence. With the most recent major content arriving on May 1, 2026, and both a strong established pattern and stated developer intent to keep adding content, the game is in active ongoing development.
