Evaluation

CATGIRL LOVER released on June 27, 2019, and received a single free DLC the following day on June 28, 2019. Since then, the developer (CUTE ANIME GIRLS) has not released any updates, patches, or additional content for this specific game. The developer's news posts are largely studio-wide announcements promoting their other titles — My Cute Fuhrer, My Cute Pagangirl, My Cute Succubus, TSUNDERE MILFIN — and teasing their upcoming game Shuffle Waifu Cafe. None of these posts reference new content planned for CATGIRL LOVER itself. The most recent developer communication on December 27, 2025 focuses entirely on other games and the studio's next project. With only one free DLC released the day after launch and no post-launch update activity for over six years, CATGIRL LOVER appears to have launched as a complete, self-contained product.

Evidence

The only DLC — a free content pack — was released one day after the game launched on June 28, 2019. It is the sole post-launch content item and has been released.
