Cavalry Girls launched on October 20, 2023 and has seen sustained development ever since. The developer has shipped four DLCs: Clover (July 19, 2024), Red Lotus (August 28, 2025), the Crowdfunding Supporter Skin Pack (March 27, 2026), and an Art Book (April 27, 2026). Alongside these, the game has received over 11 major free updates and 38 total updates across its two-year lifespan, according to the developer's own October 2025 anniversary post.
In February 2026, the developer published a detailed status update stating that Version 2.6 would theoretically be the last large free content update, but explicitly confirmed that DLC work is still ongoing and that additional free content is tied to the game reaching 90% and 91% positive review milestones. Their October 2025 anniversary post also noted that a third and fourth DLC were actively in production at that time.
Most recently, the August 10, 2026 patch notes (v2.6.2859) include a line stating that "the release date for the new DLC has been slightly postponed" — confirming that at least one more DLC is still in development and approaching release.
