Cheeky Chooks

Cheeky Chooks launched on October 31, 2018 as a free-to-play casual farm management game. After launch, the developer — Trilum Studios — shipped a series of substantial updates over the following years: a Halloween event ("The Cluckening") in November 2018, a sweeping overhaul with Cheeky Chooks 2.0 in February 2020, the large Seasons Update in August 2021 (which added 40+ new chooks, changing seasons and weather, and a new Adventure Mode), and finally the Legendary Chooks update in October 2021, which added 11 new Legendary Chooks, new missions, new items, and a time-travel mechanic. After October 29, 2021, no further major content updates have been released. The only developer communication since then is a December 18, 2025 patch that updated the Unity engine version for security and compatibility purposes (64-bit Intel and Apple Silicon support). This maintenance patch is consistent with keeping an older game running on modern hardware, not with ongoing content development. The developer has not announced any future content, roadmap, or additional updates. The historical pattern of major releases — roughly every 6 to 18 months — has now been silent for over four years since the last content drop. The store description does not reference any planned content and explicitly notes "no ads or in-app purchases." The December 2025 patch confirms the developer still maintains the game technically, but the content development arc clearly concluded with the Legendary Chooks update in October 2021.
