Chef Knight

Chef Knight launched on June 1, 2026 and has received strong player reception. Since launch, the developer has posted a series of patches addressing bugs and quality-of-life improvements. On September 28, 2026, the developer published a post announcing a major performance update with language additions — and crucially, revealed that their next project, Chef Knight: Desktop Adventures, is now in early development. The post describes Desktop Adventures as a separate, new game on Steam and notes it is "still very early in development." Importantly, the developer made no mention of planned additional content for Chef Knight itself — no DLC, expansions, or roadmap for this game. The announcement is clearly about a sequel/spin-off, not future content for the existing game. With no announced content planned for Chef Knight, no unreleased DLC listed on the store, and a developer who appears to be shifting focus toward a new title, the game appears to have shipped as a complete product. The September 28, 2026 update — delivering performance improvements and new language support — appears to be the final substantive update to the game.
