Evaluation

Chinese Brush Simulator launched into Early Access on January 28, 2020 and has remained there. The developer posted two feature updates in early 2020 — the most recent on March 7, 2020 — adding features like Chinese Chess and an Erhu instrument. In that final post, the developer mentioned plans to add a winter scene "at the end of the year" (end of 2020). That content was never delivered, and no developer communications of any kind have appeared since March 7, 2020. The game's store description still references being in development and encourages players to contact the developer with feedback, but no such contact has materialized publicly in over six years. The game remains purchasable on Steam but shows no signs of active development. The promised winter scene content has not arrived, and the developer has gone completely silent beyond the established update pattern.
Evidence
Developer announced the summer study scene was complete and planned to add a winter scene 'at the end of the year.' This is the last known communication from the developer.
