Chinese Parents launched on September 28, 2018 and has received a long and sustained history of content additions. The game underwent a major Version 2.0 overhaul (announced May 10, 2022) that rebuilt the game's art and systems. Since then, the developer has continued shipping new features: a Heirloom System on July 3, 2024, a Pet System on November 28, 2024, and most recently a major Art Student gameplay update on August 15, 2026 — just two weeks before today's assessment date. This latest update adds a completely new educational path through the game (art school route), an independent art college entrance exam system, new mini-games, exclusive storylines, and seasonal content tied to real-world time. The developer framed it as a content update alongside a sale announcement, showing the studio remains actively engaged. The pattern of major content additions — roughly every several months to a year — has now been reaffirmed with this August 2026 release. No specific future content has been announced, but given that a major update just shipped, the developer is clearly still actively adding to the game.
