Chocolate Factory Simulator launched on January 7, 2025. Shortly after launch, the developer published a public roadmap on January 17, 2025 outlining four planned updates. All four updates were delivered in quick succession: Update I on January 29, 2025; Update II on February 5, 2025; Update III on February 12, 2025; and Update IV on February 20, 2025. On February 20, 2025, the developer published an explicit statement marking Update IV as the completion of their roadmap, describing it as "the grand finale" and "marking the completion of our ROAD MAP." No further structured content commitments were announced. The developer invited players to submit ideas for future improvements but made no promises of additional updates, and there have been no further developer communications since February 26, 2025 (a minor patch ending the Valentine's Day event). The game launched as a finished product and fulfilled all of its post-launch content promises by February 20, 2025.
