Evaluation
Choice of Life: Middle Ages 2 launched on September 30, 2022 as a complete card-based RPG. After launch, the developer continued to improve the game with patches: Update 1.11 on April 10, 2024 added quality-of-life features and Turkish localization, and Update 1.12 on May 25, 2024 added ten additional language localizations (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Ukrainian, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese). There are no announced or unreleased DLC packs — the only DLC on the store are a wallpaper pack and a soundtrack, both released on launch day. Since May 25, 2024, all developer activity has been focused on new, separate titles: Choice of Life: Wild Islands (released September 26, 2024), Choice of Life: Samosbor (released November 6, 2025), Ritualis: Summoner Simulator (released May 28, 2026), and Choice of Life: Floors (announced February 5, 2026 for spring 2026). There are no outstanding commitments for Middle Ages 2, no announced future content, and the studio has clearly moved on to new projects. The game launched as a complete product and was subsequently polished with localization and bug fixes.
