Choo-Choose launched on August 12, 2024 and has received a consistent stream of major content updates adding new acts to the game: Acts 4 and 5 shipped on October 29, 2024; Act 6 (Endless Mode) arrived on November 13, 2024; and Act 7 ("Live a Full Life") launched on June 18, 2025. This establishes a recognizable cadence of roughly every 1–7 months between major content drops. The most informative recent signal comes from the December 26, 2025 winter patch, where the developer wrote: "We're still thinking about what the next act could be. If you have any ideas, feel free to drop them in the comments." This is a clear statement that act development is ongoing and no conclusion has been reached. The most recent developer communication was a security maintenance patch on October 6, 2026, showing the studio remains actively engaged with the game. The December 29, 2025 post also confirmed the studio is working on a new game (Forsaken Lands) but explicitly noted this is happening "in parallel" with continued work on Choo-Choose. All four DLC items (Supporter Pack, Wallpapers Pack, Cosmetic Chaos DLC, and Artbook) have been released as of July 1, 2025. No further DLC has been announced or listed as unreleased. However, given the developer's own statement that they are still considering future acts and have not communicated any conclusion to content development, the game continues to receive substantial additions after its 1.0 release at a sustained pace.
