Choppa (Classic) launched on February 23, 2017 as a small, self-contained arcade score-chaser by two-person Finnish indie studio Parta Games. The store description frames it explicitly as a finished, replayable arcade product with no promises of ongoing content expansions.
Post-launch, the developers shipped a handful of patches and feature updates: a post-launch bug fix in March 2017, a Finland anniversary update adding a new chopper variant in December 2017, and a more substantial feature update in February 2019 adding two new helicopters with unique mechanics and full controller support. In October 2019, the developer announced the end of macOS sales and support due to Apple platform requirements — a maintenance decision rather than a sign of broader shutdown.
The most recent notable post (April 8, 2020) announced a new game in the Choppa franchise called Choppa: Rescue Rivals, which is a sequel/spin-off rather than new content for this game. There have been no posts of any kind since April 2020 — over six years ago as of today.
The February 2019 feature update appears to be the last substantive content shipped to the game. The game was clearly designed as a complete, compact arcade product from the outset, and no further content has been announced or hinted at for this title. The studio's attention has shifted to its successor game.

We are a very small game company of two guys from rural Finland. We love making small but juicy arcade games with simple mechanics. Please expect 'Choppa' to be a small, replayable, arcade score-chaser game where the only goals are to constantly beat your previous score by rescuing more people from randomly generated levels and unlock some improved Choppers and upgrades.
