CHUCHEL

CHUCHEL is a self-contained comedy adventure game that launched on March 7, 2018. Its only DLC — a Soundtrack + Art Book — was released on the same day as the game itself. After launch, Amanita Design issued one notable post-release update on December 21, 2018, which changed the main character's appearance from black to orange and bundled minor bug fixes. That update represents the last substantive change to the game's content. No further patches, expansions, or additional content of any kind have been released since then. The developer has never announced or hinted at any future content for CHUCHEL specifically. Amanita Design's news activity on the CHUCHEL Steam page since 2018 has consisted entirely of announcements and promotions for their other games (Creaks, Happy Game, Phonopolis), confirming the studio has moved on. A July 2024 post explicitly groups CHUCHEL alongside other completed Amanita titles offered at a discount, contrasting it with Phonopolis as the only game "currently being worked on." CHUCHEL launched as a complete, story-driven adventure and has remained that way.
