Evaluation

Cipheur launched as a free-to-play cryptogram puzzle game on March 12, 2025. Since then, developer Error 300 has maintained a consistent and prolific stream of paid DLC content packs spanning a wide variety of themes — famous quotes, proverbs, video game quotes, uncommon words, famous last words, stupid laws, Russian-language packs, and a growing Trivia series covering biology, astronomy, chemistry, physics, geography, and food. In total, the DLC list now includes 29 released packs, with additional packs announced and released via news posts that appear to be separate store listings not yet reflected in the tracked DLC list (Trivia: Food on June 19, 2026; Trivia: Biology 3 on May 14, 2026). The developer published a roadmap in July 2025 outlining upcoming releases through August 2025, all of which were subsequently delivered on schedule — demonstrating a reliable development and release pattern. The Trivia series in particular has been expanding sequentially (Biology, Biology 2, Biology 3), and other series have followed the same numbered pattern (Famous People Quotes 1–5, Uncommon Words 1–3, etc.), strongly suggesting further entries are in development. The most recent confirmed DLC release was Trivia: Food on June 19, 2026. No developer statement has indicated that DLC development is concluding.
