Evaluation
Circle of Football entered Steam Early Access on August 6, 2020. The developers posted a few feature patches in the months following launch, but on September 16, 2021, the studio published an official statement announcing they were removing the game from the Steam store. They cited an inability to develop the game to the standard they expected of themselves, and stated they needed time to regroup and incorporate player feedback. They expressed a desire to return with an improved product, and confirmed that existing owners would retain access to the game and that servers would remain online. The game has no purchase options available today — consistent with that delisting — and there have been no further developer communications since September 16, 2021. The game remains in an indeterminate "on break" state with no announced return date or subsequent update of any kind.
Evidence
