Coin Factory launched on June 21, 2024 and received a steady stream of updates through the rest of that year. The developer shipped multiple feature updates adding new tiles, maps, game modes (including a Hardcore mode in December 2024), hotkey support, Steam achievements, monthly challenges, and UI improvements. In the December 1, 2024 update, the developer mentioned that additional modes — specifically prestige and infinite modes — were being considered, pending evaluation of how the new Hardcore mode was adopted by players. The last official communication from the developer was a bug fix post on December 23, 2024. Since then, there have been no announcements, patch notes, or updates of any kind through June 19, 2026 — a period of nearly 6 months of silence that breaks the previously consistent posting cadence. With the developer having mentioned future modes that were still under consideration and then going silent, it is unclear whether those plans are still being pursued or whether development has quietly wound down.
