Evaluation
Cold House launched on May 2, 2022 as an explicitly episodic game — its store description states it is "the first episode of three," meaning two additional episodes were promised. In the five days following launch (May 2–7, 2022), the developer posted a handful of bug fix and minor patch updates, then went completely silent. As of June 23, 2026, there have been no announcements, no development updates, and no releases related to Episodes 2 or 3 — more than four years after launch. The promised follow-up episodes have never materialized, and the developer has provided no explanation or status update. Players who purchased this game expecting a three-part story currently have only the first episode, with no indication the remaining two will ever be delivered.
