CONSCRIPT: Director’s Cut

CONSCRIPT launched on July 23, 2024 and received several post-launch patches addressing balance and bugs, culminating in the major "Director's Cut" free update (v2.0) on December 4, 2025, which added new difficulty modes, items, quality-of-life improvements, level design changes, and accessibility features. Following that, two additional patch updates shipped in January 2026 (v2.1.0.0) and May 6, 2026 (v2.1.0.1). The developer explicitly stated in both the January 21, 2026 patch post ("This will be the last update unless any other major issues come up. Onwards to new things!") and the May 6, 2026 patch post ("Just to reiterate, this'll be the final update for the game (unless anything major is thrown my way). More battles await us.") that development on CONSCRIPT is now complete. These are clear, direct developer statements that no further content is planned. The May 6, 2026 post represents the final update and the point at which the game's content was declared complete. On June 4, 2026, the developer announced that the Director's Cut would be coming to additional platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, GOG, and Epic Game Store) in Q4 2026, but this is a port announcement rather than new game content — it does not contradict the completion statements. All three DLC items (the Trench Raider Pack, Golden Gun Pack, and Original Soundtrack) were released on launch day and no unreleased DLC exists.
