Evaluation
CosmoOdyssey: Trip to Mars launched on August 18, 2022 as a self-contained first-person adventure game. Following launch, the developer shipped a significant free content update on September 10, 2022 (version 2.0), which added 6 new locations including Mars itself, 3 new main characters, and a dialog system — substantially expanding the game beyond its initial release. A few smaller patches followed through October 26, 2022, the last of which was a minor bug fix. There have been no developer posts of any kind since October 26, 2022.
The one post-2022 news item (March 19, 2026) is an announcement for an entirely separate, unrelated game called "The Hollow" — a new title set in 1960s Siberia with a distinct premise, characters, and setting. This is not a DLC or expansion for CosmoOdyssey: Trip to Mars; it is a new game asking players to wishlist it. It provides no indication that CosmoOdyssey itself is receiving further content.
The store description presents a complete, self-contained narrative experience with a defined set of 10 locations, full voice acting, and a resolved story arc. No DLC, season pass, or future content has ever been announced or listed for the game. Development activity ceased in late 2022, and the game launched as a finished product that received a single major post-launch expansion before going quiet.
