The store description explicitly states "We promise to update this game regularly, with more characters!" — a commitment to ongoing content additions. However, the most recent developer communication tied to this game was on May 21, 2024, and both of the most recent posts (April 19 and May 21, 2024) were actually announcements for a new, separate title called Fetish Club — not updates to Costume Party itself. The last substantive update to Costume Party's own content appeared to be the August 2023 moving heads feature patch. No communications have been posted since May 2024. Given the developer's prior posting cadence of roughly every 1-3 months and the explicit promise of ongoing character additions in the store description, the silence since May 21, 2024 — now exceeding 13 months — raises genuine uncertainty about whether active development is continuing.
