Crash Dive 2 launched on April 1, 2021 and has been actively supported ever since. The developer has released two paid expansion packs: the Aleutian Islands Expansion Pack on August 17, 2023, and the East Indies Expansion Pack on June 9, 2024. Both added substantial new content including new mission areas, ships, aircraft, and campaign missions. Beyond these major releases, the developer has maintained a very consistent cadence of feature patches — the news feed shows patches arriving every few weeks to months throughout 2024, 2025, and into 2026, with the most recent update (v1.4.32) posted on May 12, 2026. These patches have consistently added new gameplay features, map improvements, quality-of-life additions, and localization — not just bug fixes. The developer has not announced any specific upcoming content, nor have they indicated that development is winding down. Given the sustained pattern of both major expansions and regular feature updates over five years with the most recent activity just weeks ago, the game is clearly still being actively supported.
