Creative Console entered Steam Early Access on January 10, 2023 and has been receiving updates since then. The game received a steady stream of feature patches and bug fixes through 2023 and into 2024, culminating in a significant version 3.1 update on September 20, 2024 that added achievements, sound effects, UI improvements, and other features.
On August 22, 2024, JJS Games announced a transition from a free-to-play model to a paid model, explicitly committing to continued high-quality content updates and improved player experience going forward. This was followed by a flurry of activity in September and early October 2024 — multilingual support, cloud saves, global server expansion, and bug fixes.
However, the last developer communication of any kind was a bug fix post on October 19, 2024. As of June 16, 2026, there has been no update, announcement, or post from the developer in over 8 months. This breaks the active update pattern that had been maintained through most of 2023 and 2024.
Additionally, a V0.3 story mode — featuring new cards, time manipulation skills, and customizable level goals — was announced on August 2, 2023 but has never been confirmed as shipped. Combined with the developer's August 2024 pledge to continue delivering content, there are outstanding commitments with no follow-through and no explanation for the prolonged silence.
The game remains in Early Access with no 1.0 release announced.
