Evaluation
Cricket Club launched in Early Access on January 18, 2018 and received a steady stream of updates throughout 2018 and into early 2019. The developer shipped Update 1 in March 2018, followed by Updates 2 through 6 across the rest of 2018, with Update 7 (the last known release) going live on March 1, 2019. These updates brought meaningful new content including new venues, difficulty modes, bowler types, team creation tools, match autosaving, certificate challenges, and physics improvements — a solid pace of development for an Early Access title.
However, all developer activity appears to have stopped after March 1, 2019. There have been no patch notes, announcements, or developer posts of any kind since that date — a silence of over seven years as of June 2026. The game remains listed on Steam in Early Access with no public statement from the developer about whether development is continuing, on hold, or ended. No 1.0 release has been announced or delivered. Given the length of silence and the absence of any explanation, it is unclear whether this game is still being actively developed.
Evidence
Update 7 shipped with a new venue (Eden Park Outer Oval), team creation features, match autosave, certificate challenges, physics improvements, and fielding improvements. This is the last known developer communication.
Update 6 beta released with major new features including team creation and match autosave, indicating active development at that time.
