Cronous Online is no longer available for purchase on Steam — the store page shows no purchase options, meaning the game has been removed from sale.
The game's history on Steam tells a clear story of service termination. On August 2, 2023, VALOFE published a farewell message [NEWS-2] thanking the community and reflecting on their shared journey — language that strongly signals the end of the game's Steam service. The very next post, on August 30, 2023 [NEWS-1], confirmed that the original Cronous Global Steam server had been shut down. VALOFE attempted to soften the blow by directing players to a replacement server hosted outside of Steam (the 聖戰科洛斯 server, opening September 19, 2023), but this was a migration away from Steam, not a continuation of the Steam product.
Prior to the shutdown, the game had been a live-service MMORPG with regular seasonal events, rotating cash shop items, and consistent bi-weekly patch updates. The last developer communication on Steam was the August 30, 2023 announcement about the replacement server. Since then, no further posts have appeared, and the game can no longer be purchased on Steam. The studio has effectively ended the Steam version of Cronous Online.
Evidence
