The developer has been actively maintaining the game with bug fix patches through November 10, 2025. In the 2.0 Update post, the developer was candid about the game's content trajectory: they stated that the card pool for animals and permits has reached its intended maximum, that "it is likely that no more new cards will be added," and that future focus would be on rebalancing existing cards and strategies. They also noted they have begun working on a new game (Curse of the Abyss) and do not expect a 2.1 patch, while acknowledging they said the same thing before 1.3 shipped. The last developer communication of any kind was a bug fix on November 10, 2025. The developer has clearly signaled that the game's content development is winding down, with the 2.0 update serving as what they describe as a likely final major content release.
