Evaluation
Croppy Boy launched on August 28, 2020 as a free-to-play sandbox multiplayer farming game. A single paid DLC — Croppy Boy: Royal — was released on the same day as the base game, unlocking additional character options. Following launch, the developer posted four updates between September and October 2020, adding save game support, Polish language localization, a level editor with custom character selection, and Steam Workshop integration. The last developer communication was on October 11, 2020. Since that date — now more than five years ago — there have been no further posts, patches, announcements, or developer communications of any kind. The one listed DLC is fully released, no unreleased content is listed on the store, and the developer has made no statements about future content or plans. The game appears to have launched as a largely complete product and received a short post-launch patch cycle before going quiet, consistent with a finished indie title.
Evidence
Steam Workshop support added — the last official developer post. No communications have followed since October 11, 2020.
Croppy Boy: Royal DLC released on launch day — the only listed DLC, and it is fully released.
