CUBEMATRIX launched on January 27, 2023 as a free-to-play casual game with 10 levels of obstacle course gameplay. Shortly after launch, the developer was active: a March 25, 2023 post outlined plans to send updates throughout the years based on community suggestions, and an April 29, 2023 post confirmed that Steam achievements were in progress but delayed due to university finals, with a promise to ship them as a major update afterward. However, no further communication has appeared since April 29, 2023. The promised achievements update has never been mentioned again, and there is no record of it having shipped. The developer also mentioned working on a second game with a new team, which may have shifted focus away from CUBEMATRIX. With over three years of silence since the last post, it is unclear whether the planned updates — including the achievements — were ever delivered or whether active development on this game has quietly ended.
