Evaluation

Cult of PiN launched on August 10, 2026. On launch day, solo developer Kenny published a detailed post-launch roadmap committing to a substantial slate of upcoming content. In 2026, he plans to add dedicated cabinet and virtual pinball (VPin) support with adjustable camera angles and secondary display options, plus expanded boss encounters with new spell variations and custom music tracks. Into 2027, he has committed to Xbox and Nintendo Switch ports and rolling content drops adding new Glyphs, Blessings, and Curses drawn from a backlog of unused ideas and community suggestions. Since launch, development has been extremely active. Kenny shipped six hotfix patches between August 10 and August 16, addressing crashes, performance issues, and gameplay bugs. The most recent post on August 20, 2026 is a substantial feature patch (v1.0.18) that overhauled the Rituals upgrade system, removed late-game scaling caps, and — notably — introduced a modular upgrade architecture that Kenny explicitly describes as making "adding new content in future updates much, much easier." The same post closes with a direct statement of upcoming plans: new Bosses and Mini-bosses for all tables, improvements to the Cult of the Drowned table layout, additional table elements, and better visual feedback. The developer is clearly engaged and the roadmap commitments remain fully intact.

About this game

Cult of PiN is a roguelike Pinball game requiring sharp reflexes and strategic combos. Collect powerful Glyphs to enhance your damage, and smash your way through as many stages as you can to claim a place on the global leaderboard.

Master the cradled ramp shot, hit hard-to-reach mission targets, and purchase run-altering mystical Glyphs to beat each table stage, destroying all the bumpers to move onto the next one. Discover hidden bonus tables and unlock new Balls and Glyphs for future runs. Perfect your nudge and trick shot skills to reach Act VI on each table to claim victory. After that, continue playing in endless mode to secure your spot on the leaderboards for each table.

A new and unique Pinball experience

Deal damage to bumpers when you hit them, and complete missions as you go to trigger encredible, table-wide damage effects

Strategic Gameplay: At higher stages, unique Table Traits and Bumper variants start appearing, forcing you to change up your approach if you want to beat the stage

Play all 4 Tables across 6 difficulty settings, each adding a new challenge to the way the game is played.

  • 100 unlockable Gylphs, each with a unique impact on gameplay

  • 4 unique Tables

  • 16 bumper types that impact gameplay, from changing gravity to moving position, or just blinking out of sight entirely

  • 8 Balls with unique rules and speeds

  • 8 Random Table traits that subvert the rules for the rest of the run!

Completed every table, on every difficulty? No problem! There's also 2 global leaderboards for each table - 'Monthly' and 'All-Time' so there's plenty of opportunity to prove yourself internationally as one of the all time PiN-ball greats
