Cult of the Lamb

Cult of the Lamb launched on August 11, 2022 and has received a steady stream of major content since then. Massive Monster shipped the Heretic Pack DLC in April 2023, the Sinful Pack in January 2024, a large free update called Unholy Alliance (adding local co-op) alongside the Pilgrim Pack DLC in August 2024, and most recently the Woolhaven story expansion on January 22, 2026 — a substantial paid DLC featuring two new dungeons, a winter survival system, ranching mechanics, and dozens of new followers and items. The developer has continued releasing bug-fix patches as recently as April 20, 2026, showing the team remains actively engaged with the game. In November 2024, the developer stated the game "has been in active development for around 6 years now," and the March 2026 post celebrating Woolhaven's reception did not announce an end to support. A development_status post from April 2025 announced the passing of the studio's Audio Director, but this personal tragedy did not halt development — Woolhaven shipped as planned in January 2026. All seven DLC items currently listed are released, and no future content has been explicitly announced. However, given the strong and consistent pattern of major updates roughly every 6–12 months across the game's lifetime, and the absence of any statement that development is winding down, the game remains in a posture of ongoing post-launch support.
